Surah Al-Ahzab

Surah Al-Ahzab (Arabic: الأحزاب) is the 33rd sura of the Qur'an. Consisting of 73 verses, this sura suras belonged Madaniyah-suras, revealed after surah Ali Imran. Named Al-Ahzab which means that allied groups because in this sura there are a few verses, namely verse 9 to verse 27 which relates to war Al-Ahzab, the war being waged by the Jews who allied with the hypocrites and the people the unbelievers against the believers in Madinah.

Principles of contents



1. Faith: God alone is sufficient as a Protector; destiny God can not be rejected; Prophet Muhammad SAW is a good example and role model; the Prophet Muhammad was the last messenger and prophet, only God alone knows when the Hour.

2. The laws: Law zhihar; position adopted child; basis in Islam is the heir inherits nasab relationship (consanguinity), no woman wants to have intercourse for ditalak before mixed; specific laws concerning marriage of the Prophet and obligation to his wives; ban hurt Prophet.

3. The stories: War Ahzab (Ditch); story Jahsy with Zainab bint Zaid; fight Bani Quraizhah.

4. And others: Regret the unbelievers in the afterlife because they deny Allah and His Messenger properties hypocrites.
