Surah Luqman

Surah Luqman (Arabic: لقمان, "Luqman al-Hakim") is the 31st sura of the Qur'an. This Surah comprises of 34 verses and sura-sura belonged Makkiyah. Sura was revealed after surah As-Saffat. Luqman name taken from the story told in surah Luqman is about how she educates her children.

Main content



1. Faith: The Qur'an is a guidance and mercy are truly felt by those who believe the situation in the heavens and the earth and the wonders contained in them is evidence of the unity and power of God, humans will not survive except in obedience to the commandments of God and do righteous deeds; five things unseen, which is known only by God himself; knowledge of God includes all those whose birth or inner.

2. The Laws: Liability obedient and filial to both parents as long as not contrary to the commandments of God; a requirement that the notice of nature and magic to strengthen faith and belief in the God Esaan; command to always be cautious and afraid of reprisals God on the Day of Judgement in time a person can not please either the child or father though.

3. The stories: The story of Luqman, the acquisition of knowledge and wisdom.

4. Other: The people who go astray from the Path of Allah and always mock the verses of Allah; reproach against idolaters because they do not bother to pay attention to nature's call and do not worship the Creator, to console the Prophet against the refusal of the polytheists, as this is not negligence; blessings and grace of God can not be calculated.
