Surah Ad-Dukhan (Arabic: الدخان) is the 44 suras in the Qur'an. This Surah makkiyah classified letter consisting of 59 verses. Named Ad-Dukhan, which means fog taken from the word Ad-Dukhan contained in paragraph 10 of this surah.



According to Bukhari narrated in brief can be explained as follows: The pagans of Mecca in the Islamic religion would hinder and hurt and disobeyed the Holy Prophet had crossed the line, so the prophet prayed to God for punishment as it has been lowered down to the people who rebel against the Prophet Joseph, the long dry season. Prayer of the Prophet that God granted to those who disbelieve take the bones and carcasses from starvation. They always look to the sky to expect God's help. But they saw none except the fog that covered their views.



Finally they came to the Prophet to the Prophet pleading to God to rain down. After God granted the prayer of the Prophet and the rain was sent down, they returned as they are infidels. So God declared that they will punished with a painful punishment.
