Surah Al-Fajr (Arabic: الفجر, "Dawn") is the 89th surah of the Qur'an. It belongs sura surah Makkiyah consisting of 30 verses. Named Al-Fajr, which means Dawn is taken from the words of Al-Fajr contained in the first verse of this surah.
