Surah Al-Gasyiyah

Surah Al-Gasyiyah (Arabic: الغاشية, al-Ġāšiyäh, "Judgement Day") is the 88th surah of the Qur'an. It belongs sura surah Makkiyah and consists of 26 verses. Named Al-Gasyiyah which means the Day of Judgement is taken from the word al-Gasyiyah contained in the first verse of this surah. Referred to as "Judgement Day" in this sura is the Day of Resurrection. This sura is sura which is usually read by Muhammad on second cycles on the day of Raya prayers and Friday prayers.
