Surah Al-A'raf (Arabic: سورة الأعراف‎, Sūratu al-A'rāf, "The Heights") is the seventh chapter of the Qur'an, with 206 verses. It is a Meccan sura. Its final verse, verse 206, requires a sajdah, or prostration.

Named Al-A'raf because Al-A'raf words contained in verse 46 that suggests about the state of the people who are above the Al-A'raf namely: the highest spot on the border of heaven and hell.



Principles of contents



1. Faith: Oneness of God in prayer and worship, only God himself who set up and maintain the natural, creating laws and laws to regulate human life in the world and the Hereafter; God dwells in the 'Throne; refutation of falsehoods shirk; ketauhidan is appropriate with human nature; Moses spoke with God; about seeing God commands worship as he humbled himself to God, God has al asmaaul Names.

And others: the Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet who efflux and follow orders; the Holy Prophet sent to all mankind; civilized believers, adab hearing of the Qur'an and dhikr; messengers responsible for delivering the call of God; counterattack against those who follow and deny the messengers; proselytizing first apostles mentauhidkan God once was; about ashhaabul A'raaf located between heaven and hell, God the creator of creatures, humans are best used as a God and a willingness to have good and for bad; hostility devil of Bani Adam; man caliph of God on earth; the destruction of a nation is because their deeds itself; to every people has a better period and the period of destruction, God tested man with kakayaan and poverty; istidraj Wrath of Allah against those who deny his revelations.
