Surah Ar-Ra'd (Arabic: الرعد, ar-Ra'd, "Thunder") is the 13th sura of the Qur'an. This Surah consists of 43 verses and suras belonged Makkiyah. This Surah is called Ar-Ra'd which means Thunder (Thunder) because in verse 13 Allah says which means The thunder that celebrate His praise, shows the nature of purity and perfection of Allah SWT. And again according to the nature of the Quran that contains threats and expectations, then so are thunder, it does cause anxiety and hope to mankind. The most important contents of these chapters is that the guidance of Allah to His creatures closely related to the law of cause and effect. For Allah there is no favoritism in setting punishment. Reward or penalty is due and compliance or refusal of God's law.

Principles of contents




1. Faith: It is Allah Who created the universe and set it; knowledge encompasses all things, the angel who always maintain a human being from time to time, namely Hafazhah angel, only Allah who received the prayers of His servants; give Taufiq only the rights of God, is God's apostle convey religious duty.

2. The laws: Man banned from praying that bad for him; obligation to prevent acts of wrongdoing.

3. The stories: The story of the experience the ancient prophets.

4. And others: Some properties are praiseworthy; parable for those who worship idols and those who worship Allah, Allah does not change the fate of a nation so that they change their own circumstances.
