Surah Sad (Arabic: ص, "Sad") is the 38th sura in the Qur'an. Surah 88 verses comprising this includes class and derived Makkiyah sura after sura al-Qamar. Sad named because it begins with the letter sura Sad.

Principles of contents
1. Faith: Arguments about the prophethood of Muhammad peace be upon him, that he knows things that can only be known by revelation; oath devil to deceive all mankind except the servants of God who are sincere; Koran was revealed to be a lesson for all mankind and Jinn .
2. The stories: The story of David a.s. and the story of Solomon a.s.; story of Ayyub a.s.
3. And others: The idolaters stunned at the recognition of Prophet Muhammad that God is Almighty; secrets contained in the acts of nature; quarrel between people who are misguided and their followers in hell; the favors bestowed upon the people of Paradise and the punishment inflicted for the content of hell.
